•  Are you looking for a fun, safe and exciting after school activity for your daughter? - The Girls' Brigade programme, for girls aged 5 to 17, includes activities like rock climbing, photography, canvas art, cooking, camping and other crafts & games that help girls reach their full potential.  11th Christchurch Girls' Brigade meets on Tuesday nights from 6.15pm at St Ninians Church Hall, Riccarton.  For more information contact Jennifer on 342 8491 or 027 458 2535."


•  Skoolstars Holiday Programme - The Skoolstars Holiday Programme gives children the opportunity to experience Music and Technology in one amazing holiday programme. Our singing & dance teachers work with the children to create performances to be recorded and filmed. We then produce the performances into a Music DVD. The Children will design their own DVD cover to personalise their very own DVD of the group performances. Each child will receive a music DVD including behind the scenes footage. •  After School Care needed - In a kind and welcoming home, for a year 4 male Fendalton School student. While mother attends Teachers College and participates in teaching experience practice in the wider community. Term 2 = 5 weeks Term 3 = 2 weeks (2 week break) and then 5 weeks. Pick up maybe as early as 3:30pm or through to 5pm. This would suit a family with children at Fendalton School, with few after school commitments. Build a Radio Receiver for Free - Kendal School April 18th, Learn about Amateur Radio. You, your family and friends are welcome to come to Kendal School Saturday April 18th to build your own radio receiver. You will learn how your radio works, identify and solder electronic parts, assemble and test it. Full instructions and expert help will be provided. You can also learn about becoming a Radio Amateur and how to communicate globally via satellites, Morse code, FM or computer data. t’s fun, it’s free, plenty of refreshments and everyone is welcome but you must register now.
